KHADAK
ABOUT THE PROJECT
KHADAK is a carbonated coffee-based canned drink offered in three flavors: strawberry, classic original coffee, and orange. We built the brand from scratch, handling everything from initial strategy and naming to brand identity, overall look and feel, and product mockups. The name KHADAK itself was our suggestion. Our branding approach struck a balance between desi character and global appeal, a sophisticated maximalism in poppy colors designed to pop on any supermarket shelf and invite consumers to try it.
CHALLENGES FACED
The biggest challenge was category creation in a tea-first market. India's traditional coffee market lacks this kind of look, feel, branding, and flavor range, so we set out to build a one-of-a-kind product with infused flavors that simply did not exist on shelves.
